Commercial Bamboo Farming plays an essential role in growing the bamboo industry! OnlyMoso offers two separate partner programs. Each program is associated with a different species and ideal environmental conditions.

Our Farmer Partner Program is made up of three parts:
1.Provide access to large quantities of bamboo mother plants
2.Provide support and guidance for growing bamboo
3.Providing a 10–20-year crop buyback agreement

With a projected U.S. bamboo shoot demand of over 160 million lbs. annually among Asian Americans, the size of the prize is significant. While 60 million pounds of bamboo shoots are currently being imported into the United States, there is an estimated 100+ million lbs. ($250 million in wholesale value) of demand not being met due to a short supply of bamboo shoots, particularly fresh.

This is illustrated below through 2020. It is expected that the next decade will provide a broader opportunity to impact the health-conscious US American diet, potentially adding another 100+ million lbs. of demand, providing a total longer-term opportunity of 200+ million lbs. with a wholesale value of $500 million.

Everyone knows the end of the year is a time for reflection. A time to look back on this years success and lessons learned. The Year 2022 brought many challenges to the bamboo industry, we felt the effects of a late frost and the impact of the major Hurricane Ian that hit Florida in September. Nevertheless, we are blessed to look back on this year and see the growth that has come to the bamboo industry!

– A new partnership was established between OnlyMoso USA and Alternative Bamboo Commodities (ABC). Begin in Spring of 2023 ABC will focus on the acquisition and processing of raw bamboo timber into finished and semi-finished products to be distributed both domestically and internationally.

–  OnlyMoso Harvest completed their 3rd successful harvest season. A total of 16,683 pounds of edible shoots were harvested from our partners between the months of July and September!

– OnlyMoso established partnerships with 2 separate bamboo managing companies- Agrobamboo: serving fields in Florida and Alabamboo: servicing fields in Alabama; these companies provide an opportunity to those interested in investing but unable to take on the responsibility associated with commercial bamboo farming.

–  Establishment of the American Bamboo Growers Association Inc. ABGA is a separate entity from OnlyMoso established and managed by bamboo farmers for bamboo farmers!

– OnlyMoso relocated our corporate office to Weston, FL.

– OnlyMoso established a partnership with Southeastern Bamboo. Southeastern Bamboo helps farmer partners establish ideal bamboo fields in NC and SC. OnlyMoso has also partnered with Southeastern for the production of temperate species of bamboo mother plants.

And so much more! Needless to say, we are excited about what the new year has to offer!

OnlyMoso is on a mission to become the largest trader of bamboo commodities in the United States!

However, we cannot do this without the support of farmer partners like these!

Janet and Dean partnered with OnlyMoso in the late fall of 2016 and planted their first round of Asper plants in early 2017, January to be exact. Now with an established 6 acres of bamboo, their field is nothing short of a site to be seen.

Although Florida has put forth its fair share of challenges in the agricultural industry, they have persevered, and its hard work and dedication have paid off. At not even 6 years of age, their plantation has participated in 3 successful harvest seasons with OnlyMosoHarvest.

We are truly grateful for their continued support, partnership, and friendship in this growing industry!

We look forward to handing delivering many more checks in the years ahead!

Our business recently relocated to a new office, and we couldn’t be more excited! This change has represented a new development for OnlyMoso and has given us a chance to expand our team and reach new heights!

We are excited to begin operations in our new location and continuing serving our clients and the needs of our growing business!
